Reykjavik Queer Choir will throw it´s spring concert on May 24th 6:30 pm in Harpa. The choir is known for a wide variety of music and will perform pieces from different categories, from some old Icelandic choir songs to well known pop songs and everything in between.

The Queer Choir was founded in July 2011 and has since then performed at multiple events including Reykjavik Gay Pride opening ceremony in 2012. Members have also traveled abroad and visited Faroe Islands during Faroe Pride the same year. The conductor is Helga Margrét Marzellíusardóttir. Accompanying the choir at the spring concert is Jón Birgir Eiríksson, pianist.

Apart from singing and entertaining Reykjavik Queer Choir is also raising money for an upcoming trip to Dublin in the summer of 2014 where members will participate in "Various Voices", a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered choral event that takes place every four years.
