Gay travel guide to Iceland I Gayice.is

BEARS ON ICE 2012 will take place the second weekend of September (6-9) but this will be the 8th year the event takes place in Reykjavik, Iceland. The four day event attracts bears and friends from all around the world and is a great opportunity to see a little bit of Iceland and Iceland´s small and friendly bear scene.

The event offers a wide range of activites such as a Golden Circle sight seeing tour and an afternoon visit to the world famous geothermal Blue lagoon. During the evenings the steam goes up in the world´s northernmost capital. The event opens Thursday night with a welcome party and Friday bear hugs party where everyone gets to mingle and makre friends. Saturday night is usually the biggest of the three nights and this year it is co-hosted with Scandinavianbearevents.com which are well known for their fantastic BearAware parties in Copenhagen. Among special guests Saturday night will be Iceland´s greatest gay icon Páll Óskar (Paul Oscar) who knows how to put on a great show and make a great party even better!
